Waste of money

The app doesnt work. I want my money back!

Save your money

Doesnt work as advertised. Just keeps alerting after time expired but doesnt lock the user out of anything.

useless

does mot allow user to do anything but stare at the count down. The instant you attempt to use another app it crashes.

THIS SUCKS,

Its a great idea, if it actually worked. But it doesnt! It counts t Down 3 seconds and then crashes.

Umm ok?

It has 10 minutes on the clock, counts down 2-3 seconds and the alarm goes off and I have to enter the password. At this point in time the app is useless...

Notification

Notification wont stop binging. It goes over and over and over and over.

Very disappointed

Counts down three seconds then alarms. Then starts over at 10 minutes. Completely pointless. I was really hoping this app would work. Hopefully it will be fixed.

No good

Times off after 3 seconds. Looks like it could be good, but it needs to be fixed.

Waste of $$$$

Waste of money, when pressed the start button it shuts down.:(

No locking

This app doesnt lock the screen after the time runs out!

Classroom Teacher Outlook

I use this app in my classroom to limit my four year olds iPad time to 15 min. Pros- easy to set, goes off in the time you set, disrupts play, keeps going off until password is set, if child attempts to hard close app it goes nuts and the alarm flips out. Cons- theres no reset that I can find. So if a child is done with iPad in five minutes, I cant reset it for the next child until the alarm goes off. If the app is hard closed and the crazy alarm goes off, you just have to wait it out until your prompted for a password (this took 15 mins once). Technically the child can play through notices and alarms: It works in the classroom because I can hear it and make the child give it up. However a child in a home could easily hang out in their room and play through the alarms.

Works brilliantly!

Does what is says flawlessly on both iPhone and iPad. Thanks to the developers- car rides are going to be so much nicer now that turns on the iDevices are now enforced.

Works ... but flawed.

Works in that it pops notifications at once time is up, but all the user has to do is wait until app stops notifying user, clear them all, and continue using the device. So works, but only partially unfortunately.

Did not work for me?

I thought this would be something that would help us manage the amount of time our kids use their iDevices, but after installing it on a 2nd Gen iPod Touch, it took me awhile to figure out how to change the amount of time (tap-hold the minute and slide left for less time and slide right for more time). However, after I did this and clicked <Start>, it would count down for a couple of seconds and then bring up the passcode screen. I would re-enter the passcode and it would come back to the Screen Time screen with the default 10 minutes again? I tried this several times with no better results and then deleted the app. I presume this worked for the other reviewers, I just couldnt get it to work for me. I will try the Game Time Limit for Parents and see if that works any better.

Good

I thought it was not working because when you close out of the application it doesnt show the mat of time remaining. But, after doing a quick test for 1 minute I realized it was working. It would be nice if there was a countdown on the screen somewhere - my daughter has autism and a countdown would really help her prepare for the end of computer time.

Improvements

Hello. Just wanted to say that when you set the time limit: no matter what you press, view or close on the "Your screen time is up" dialog, it doesnt have an area to type in your passcode. And, also wanted to let you know that the child using the iPHONE can bypass the apps feature of preventing further use of the iPHONE by pressing the sleep wake button, then unlocking the phone again. So that means that the child can continue using the iPHONE without the parent doing anything, unless the child is not intelegent yet about technology.

good app

App works great, but wish you could see how much time is left. My boys with Autism do better if they have a bit of a warning.
