Good idea, but the app doesnt work. Timer didnt stay on, sad. I have 3 kids & something like this should help sharing. Boo

The concept is great, but thats about it. As other reviewers mentioned, there is no countdown (much needed), i didnt get locked out and could just ignore the prompts, and then I couldnt stop the prompts even after entering my pass code. Ridiculous!

I do not recommend this app. Its more annoying than useful. Does not help at all making sure the time is up. Kids dont care about the alarm, they keep playing.

I tried to delete this app, since it wasnt what I wanted, but it disabled my phone and wouldnt let me enter the passcode.

First, I couldnt set the number of minutes I wanted each kid to have. Second, the timer goes off and you cant stop it even when you delete the app. Had to turn off my phone to get it to stop. Good idea but terrible execution. Im only giving it one star because thats the lowest I can give & giving 1 star for the idea alone.

Dont do it! Its like it infects your phone and continues to send on alerts EVEN AFTER YOUVE DELETED THE APP!!! It goes into psycho mode and sends notifications one right after the other and clogs up the phone. Also its not user friendly....kind if like a dinosaur-age app. Wish I couldve gave a ZERO star! Dont waste your time!

Simple. The time works but it doesnt disable the phone or lock it down in anyway. After about 20 alerts that the timer is up it just went away. No password needed. Bummed.

Everyone is complaining because they dont have the app set up properly before they use it. The dev should state clearly that you must first go to Settings > Notification Center > Screen Time. Make sure the alert style is set to Alerts instead of Banners. I dont like the noise, so I turned off Sounds (a little less stress inducing while entering your passcode) Now youre good to go! Sure, you have to tap quickly on the View button when the notifications are flashing, but once you manage to hit the View button (never takes me more than 2-3 seconds) and it launches the app, the alerts stop flashing and youre able to enter your passcode. This is a great app, though not very intuitive to use, but with a bit of setup it becomes very useful.

No matter what amount of time I set it for, it made me type in my password after 3 seconds and restarted the time. The beeping immediately agitated me. I dont think kids that are sensitive to sounds would like this.

Bad app cause when I downloaded it and it said that screen time was up it did not stop telling me. So I could not use my phone until it stopped which was until 4 hours later no joke!

Great concept but needs some tweaks: 1) Instead of the notifications, could you please just dump my kid out to the log in screen? They are fond of continuing to play with the device after their time has expired, even with the inconvenience of the dialog boxes interrupting their play. 2) The method for setting time is unintuitive and very annoying. Please just let me type in the amount of time I want them to use--the three-finger swipe to change the time does not always work consistently and I find it is often hit or miss. 3) A few times I have set the time, pressed Start and gotten the green screen, only to find later on that the timer never began counting down at all. 4) The calendar reminders no longer work, so each time I set the timer on either device (iPad 2 and iPhone 4) I get a message saying "Calendar Reminder Not Set." It used to work but no longer does, so this feature is useless to me. 5) Also BUGGY and does not always work consistently on an iPad. In fact, I have not been able to get it to work on my iPad2 ever since I upgraded to 7.1.2. Extremely frustrating! With these fixes, this app could be great.

Absolute junk. Worst $1.99 ever spent. Wow - BAD!!!

Make sure that you read through the instructions to set the app up properly before you use it. It works just like it says, but you may need to change some settings on how notifications are delivered. For all the people that give this app a poor review, I feel that they missed this step.

I purchased this piece of **** hoping it would at least help with keeping her ipad usage to a reasonable amount of time without being an iPad police officer. I realize it falls to the parent but this app cannot do that in the least! Would not waste money on this product

Piece of junk. Once a timer is set, its unable to be changed/turned off. Couple that with multiple alarms going off at one prematurely and it renders your device unusable. Do not install this in its current version.

I would like it to lock down the iPad after the time until I unlock it. My son can keep playing but with an obnoxious alarm going off. It takes my (different than opening the iPad password) password to shut it off. No matter what he is doing the alarm continues and he can not mute it. So......... Its a good app and does the job I can hear the alarm then take it away.

I never write reviews, but I could not ignore this waste of an app. After reading previous reviews, I made sure to fix the notification settings so the app could function properly. No problem there. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to set a time limit. After managing to do that, the alarm immediately went off -- every 10 seconds. I hadnt yet even had a chance to handle the iPad over to my child. I tried turning the alarm off, but it did not work. I tried closing the app. The alarm still went off. I tried unlocking the alarm, but it would not allow me to enter the passcode it had just made me create. I had no choice but to delete the app. I would have been better just taking my money and flushing it down the toilet. At least that would have been less frustrating.

Useless and not worth exactly not helpful on lock the screen in acertain time
